So DW and I are trying to get a an American Heritage Girls Troop started here in our location. The American Heritage Girls are a Christian Scouting Group for girls, and are affiliated with the Boy Scouts. We had a meeting after church, and we actually had some adult interest in being on the Board. It's a step in the right direction. Our local Catholic Church is chartering us, though the AHG is ecumenical, and will be open to all the girls in our community who can agree with the Statement of Faith.
