The Complete Sherlock Holmes is available for free for your Kindle device.
You're welcome.
I remember when I was in 8th grade, I had a leather bound tome that looked like a Bible, and it was the Complete Sherlock Holmes. It was basically reproductions of the stories as published in the Strand Magazine. I was (and am) a voracious reader, and can read (with retention) at a rather prodigious rate. We had a "reading hour" in my school at that time. I was accused by my fellow students of "just looking at the pictures." Until I showed them the pages. There were very, very few pictures, and the print was quite small. That ended that.
Speaking of books, here is another author you should be reading. Her books are on the side bar. Highly recommended.
Ever read the "Solar Pons" stories by August Derleth? I remember them being available in paperback form in the 1970's, but haven't seen them in years. Not much offered on Amazon, either.
ReplyDeleteTwo of his books are on Project Gutenberg's website:

Thanks for plugging my books.
ReplyDeleteWhy shouldn't I? They're good.
