I just spent a week in Dallas, TX at the AdvoCare Success School.
I saw Michael W. Smith in Concert. Awesome!
I saw and heard more motivational speakers than I can count. They do their craft well.
I saw inspirational stories, all true, of weight loss and financial success.
Coming from the Free State of Arizona, I found it rather annoying to have to worry about how windy it is in TX. In AZ, if someone sees your pistol, the only people who care are the Californians. And there's a season on those in AZ. Seriously, Texas, ya'll need to do something about that.
This years School was at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Notice to AdvoCare Corporate: The venue may be awesome and all, but not being able to bring OUR OWN PRODUCTS into OUR OWN SUCCESS SCHOOL. Oh, and getting TSA'd at the door didn't make me feel so hot either. Either we're the cornerstone of your business or bunch of untrustworthy criminals. Choose. One. I am told that past Schools did not have these issues because they were held in Convention Centers and Hotels. As awesome as having it in an NFL Stadium is, the trade off sucks. kthxbai
Methinks I'm going to study Holly Chism's textbook on persuasive writing and see if I can get them to either A) change the venue for Success School or B) lean on DCS Corporate staff to not treat us like we just escaped from prison. Oh, and speaking of Holly, buy her books, or Poseidon will dump the ocean on your car. It being an act of a god, insurance won't cover it.
See? I can be persuasive.
